			For people who do not have access to a plotter such as the original HP7475, HP7550 or Bruning Zeta plotter, I have written a couple F77 program that reads a VECTOR.LST file that Graph produces when the output is directed to disk and then establishes a TCP/IP connection to port 9100 on a Color Laser printer or a later model HP printer/plotter like the T520. This should work on any printer that understand HPGL. The plot size can be adjusted to be compatible with various size paper by editing a configuration fille of Escape and HPGL initialization codes that replace the HPGL initialization code from VECTOR.LST. On the T520, I've tested it with 8.5" x 11", 11"x17" and 13"x19" and was just getting ready when a power failure took out the firmware on the T520. This apparently is not uncommon and I have a USB key with new firmware ordered. I have also tested this program on a Brother MFC-L8930CDW

	Also, I am in the process of testing some of the other Saturn software such as the Word Processing, Sorting, Drawing and other programs that I am less familiar with They may have problems, but updates will occur as we work through the collection of 23 different tasks. 	This distribution contains in total about ~~7500~~ blocks in ~~190~~ files.

			This distribution on a RL02 disk image has been updated and now contains in total about 10600 blocks in 304 files in three directories.

			The directories contain:
			[10,3] Saturn tasks, help files, .SAT configuration files and INSAT.CMD to install Saturn software and STARTSAT.CMD to be called by your user boot startup command file.
			[10,4] Example Spreadsheets .CAL, Spreadsheet command files .CCL, Graphics files .GCL, vector images .GDF, word processing docs .WPS

	One of the Saturn tools is a database task, SDB.tsk It is missing from all the Saturn distributions I have found so far. If anyone finds a copy of it, please let me know. There are some other software archeologists working to recover the RT-11 / TSX version of Saturn Calc and WPS. It sounds like they have those two parts running under TSX. 	The drawing program GCU.TSK had not been hacked/zapped correctly and that is now fixed. The updated GCU.DSK is available at RDP1::[DECNET]GCU.TSK It will be added to the RL01 disk image at this web site when I get back home on May 7, 2026.

	So far everything looks good, ~~but there are~~ a ~~couple caveats~~ to ~~know about~~.		So far everything looks good, and I have been having fun exploring old .CAL, .GCL and .GDF files that I have not been able to look at for decades. I found some drawings of molecules, some technical slides we made before Power Point came along. One in particular had me in rolling on the floor. It was a flow chart that described a process to finding the solution to a problem. Who says scientists don't have a sense of humor?

			Saturn Graph is working very well. I can create a line, bar or pie chart either in SIG (Saturn Interactive Graphics) or from a Calc spreadsheet. Then it can be displayed on a VT125, VT240, VT330 or VT340 (Regis) terminal. The VT340 mouse even works with the Saturn drawing program. Also, as mentioned earlier Rene Richarz's TEK4010 works very well as a plotting device to quickly view plots. A standard VT100 emulator can interact with the Saturn Graph and the TEK4010 window can display the results of your changes to the plot. Then when one is ready to make a hard copy, send it to a spooled HP7550 (HPGL) plotter or even a LA50 (sixel) printer. Some Laser Printers also understand HPGL/2 and should be able to render the plots as well. At the moment, I can print them on my Brother Laser Printer but I'm going to have to intercept the VECTOR.LST file before it gets spooled and change some settings in the initialization. Most Laser printers have a RAW TCP port 9100 that can be used to directly feed the HPGL via Johnny's TCP/IP stack on RSX11M+.
